So tell us what have you been doing? Did you get married? Move away? Have kids? Win the lotto? Did your "fondest dream" work out?

Let me refresh your memory...and make you laugh out loud:
Wade Hiscock wanted "to be at least 6 feet tall"
Heather Churchill wanted "to leave da sticks"
Andy Deans wanted "to have Van Halen open for Rush on my 19th birthday"
Lynn King wanted "to share one lifetime with Rob Lowe"
Warren Sullivan wanted "to own a harem of 365 wives"
Scott Bowring wanted "to see Thompson Twins in concert"
So tell us. We can't bare the suspense! ;-)
Email us to let us know what you have been up to and don't forget a pic!

Barb Abercrombie (Francis)
Hi Everyone, I wish it were possible for me to attend the reunion. It would be fun too see everyone and visit 'the rock'. After moving back to Colorado, I recieved a business degree from the University of Colorado, worked a few odd jobs before finding a career as a stock broker for 8 years. I married (Jerry Francis) and had two wild boys. Jake is 5 and Justin is 3. I decided to stay home when the boys were born and now run a wedding and special event florist out of my home. I got my wish and live out in the country on 20 acres with 2 horses (a foal on the way), our hunting dogs and my guys. I do become nostaligic when I think of the old gang but I do not miss those winters up there!

It's taken a while for me to get the nerve to post an update, especially after looking at my high school pictures. I managed to avoid most photo sessions, and judging by the few random acts of plaid that I managed to get caught in, I had good reason.

I left PWC with plans to go into cartography, but two terms of geography at MUN convinced me otherwise. I opted for free tuition via work terms at Engineering, and graduated some six years later in 1991. I worked at a community college in Burin for two years before landing a job at Sigma Engineering Limited, which was the best thing that ever happened to me. My current job is at Rutter where I am the lead engineer specializing in Systems Logic. In other words, from my humble beginnings I've basically risen to the height of geekdom. But the fun part is that there are always new adventures on the horizon, and good friends and family are always there to make the adventure as wild as it can get. Looking forward to seeing the gang again. That's especially true for those of you who remember dancing the "switch".

Kim Underhay
Life certainly changes after high school, yet some things never change. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and how you're all doing.

After PWC, I went to MUN for two and a half years. Then I worked for various home health care agencies around St. John's, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I looked after seniors in their own homes. I looked after adults with various disabilities and health problems, as well as children.

I went to Ontario for a short period of time. I took a course as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA). I worked in Mississauga doing the same work. I wanted to come back to Newfoundland. Then I worked at St. Luke's Home as a PCA. I took a course in Early Childhood Education and worked at various day care centers for a while. I completed a course in Microcomputer Specialist at the College of North Atlantic. Presently I am working as a Sewing Machine Operator for the Waterford Foundation at Mill Lane Enterprises. We make various designs for textile products such as portfolios, tote bags, aprons and ponchos to sell to local and international businesses.

Warren Sullivan
Well hello folks. First I would like to say that the site is fantastic, as well, congrats to the reunion committee. You guys are doing a great job.

As for me, well, never left the rock. Got a job with the RNC where I've been for fifteen years. Got married to a wonderful girl from Pouch Cove (Melissa) and we now have three beautiful kids: Heidi 11, Jane 7 and Emma 5. We are living in Flatrock so I guess you can say that I never really left the bay.

Looking forward to seeing everybody this summer and hopefully playing some golf with some of you at the tournament for Steve. We'll see you then. Cheers.

Craig Squires
First I'd like to say what a great looking and talanted group! After PWC I worked in St. John's for two years as a Schoolboard Maintenance Electrician and from there I went to Highways. Big cutbacks inevitable... my then Fiance and I left and moved to Fall River Nova Scotia and I continued my Electrical Apprenticeship while a member of the IBEW. After 2 & 1/2 years we moved to Burnaby B.C. 18 months later, ( now ) my wife and I found out the great news... our first was on the way. My wife recieved a transfer to Kelowna where our first and second child were born. I finished my apprenticeship and completed several coarses at Univercity Collage of the Caribou in Kamloops. After 4 years in Kelowna we moved to our current home in Southern Alberta... Airdrie. We had a third baby in 01... that makes three girls !!! I currently work as an Electrical Inspecter at Syncrude UE1... the oil sands. I have discovered that I am loving fatherhood and family life... I spend most of my time with my four beautiful ladies. My wife Carmel ( Stapleton ) continues to inspire as we settle into our lives toghether. My hobbies are surprise... music!!! Playing guitar is something that never left me and I continue to hone my craft as we speek. With a "play it for the joy it brings" approach I built a home studio and started carving out a niche. In 03 I had a song released out of Europe. What a great experience... exposure from local radio... interviews and guest appearences were a blast. I am currently working on a new project to be released out of Alberta and have released several songs through my website. I do all instruments and usually look outside for help with Vocals... it all adds up to a great hobby that my family enjoys and is activly involved. It's hard to believe that 20 years have gone by. I look back fondly as I stroll down memory lane when I visit www.pwc1985.com. Kudos go out to the people who put this all together. All the best.

Dan Oates
So what have I been doing for the last twenty years? Went straight to MUN after high school, got my degree (Elementary Education), got married to Ramona Goulding from Gambo, moved to Gambo for a year substituting, then to Centreville, then back to St. John's where I did my Special Ed. degree, then to Eastport for a year, then to Korea for a year, then to Nain (Labrador) for two years, and I have been living in Labrador City going on six years now. It is cold enough to quelch the fires of hell up here! We have no kids, except for a fat cat. You guys are making me long for home with all this reunion stuff. I look forward to seeing everyone again. Cheers until then.

Paul Diamond
Hi Folks, for last the twenty years I've been following Wayne's and Mario's careers. I've come to realize now with the labour dispute in the NHL that my opportunity has come. I have been working out, drinking light beer and smoking light cigarettes for weeks and hope to realize my dream of becoming a replacement player. Just to think 20 years ago I couldn't even make the PWC senior team...although in the back of my mind I always thought I could of have made Booth. But if my dream fails, I can always rely on my wife Kelly and 3 year old son Adam to pay the bills.

Can't wait to hook up with you all this summer. You can get hold of me anytime at paul.diamond@intecbilling.com where I currently reside in Edmonton as an IT consultant.

Judy Callahan (Carmichael)
Has it really been 20 years since I’ve had to come up with a bio for the year book? As for my ambition and probable fate - they’ve both come true. After teaching a variety of grades over the years, I currently teach grade two and I have changed many a dirty diaper (although it would seem that I haven’t changed as many as Todd Hiscock). I graduated MUN in May 1990 with a B.Ed. In September of the same year, I began my teaching career in Bonavista and I have been here ever since. I’ve been happily married to Mike (Corner Brook) since 1992 and we have two wonderful children, Caileigh (9) and Ben (3). I love reading all of the alumni updates and I can’t wait for the reunion in August. Hope to see you all there!

Leisa Barrett (Brophy)
Well it has been a long time since PWC. I spent 6 years at MUN. Graduated and moved to NB with my husband Hal (Bishops goalie 1985-1998). We spent 6 years in NB with my grandparents and had two boys. Moved to Cobourg, ON (just outside Toronto) to own my own Shoppers. Had another boy. Sold my Shoppers and I now own a Medicine Shoppe pharmacy. Still usually found at the hockey rink. Pass time playing with my boys, travelling and just having fun. I look forward to seeing everyone again. CHEERS!

Trevor Rowe
Hmmm, where to start. I’m now an Oncologist and for kicks I practice medical law in my spare time. Seriously though folks, I ended up doing a bunch of mun; degrees in Geophysics, CS and Math, either I loved Studying or I couldn’t find a job with my first degree – I’ll go with the later. I work in IT here in St. John’s. I am married with 2 kids, 4 and 5 and we live in St. Phillips. For fun I like wake boarding and golf the most. I like short sentences with poor grammer. See you the summer.

Doug Bemister
Hi Everyone,
It's good to see that a 20 year reunion is taking place this summer. It will be great to see the old (but still young) high school gang again. Well as for my life story. After high school I went to MUN for a few years. I did a bit of traveling, working throughout Canada. I spent a few years working at St. John's Airport and then at Cabot College (the old college of trades). I Joined the Armed Forces and have been all over the world. I am currently an Aviation Technician living in Ontario with the love of my life, my beautiful wife Adelle. No kids yet but there are plans. For the rest you'll have to wait for the reunion. See you there!
Doug

I have to admit each time I visit the PWC Class of 1985 website I step back in time. It is good to see all the interest in this event. Over the years I have been in contact with the by's (Greg Wareham, Andy Deans, Glenn Wiseman, etc.) After graduation I attended MUN and graduated in 1991 with a BA in economic geography, this was followed with the successful completion of the Graduate Diploma in Aquaculture Program at the Marine Institute in 1992. From 1993 - 2002 I worked travelled the Province doing contract and consulting work in the aquaculture industry and economic development field. In 2002 I started with the Aquaculture Branch of the Provincial Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Grand Falls-Windsor. I married in 1997 and in 2004 we welcomed our first child, Marissa, into the world. As for recreation, I enjoy freeride mountain biking, camping, skiing and canoing. Look forward to seeing you all in August.

Barry Wight
I will be amazed if there are any pics of me back in 85. I think I was on the pip the day the photographer was in school, probably the day before and the day after come to think of it. Since PWC I have worked across this country of ours more notably in Ontario and Alberta. I went back to college after finding what it was that I wanted to do in life, that only took eight or nine years. I graduated from the College of the North Atlantic in the Civil program and have been busy running around construction projects ever since. I married my best friend, my wife Meshell and have three great kids together. We have been living life large in Calgary ever since. Outside of work and chasing the kids around, what little time I have left is spent riding my motorcycle or snowboard.

I am really looking forward to seeing everybody August 2005, I know it will be a rush. I can be contacted at bwight999@hotmail.com.

Heather Predham (Sheppard)
Hello fellow classmates. Twenty years just flew by. I am living in St.John's with my husband Keith (a Rice man) and our son Ian who is 8. Ian is going to school at MacDonald Drive Elementary which is really cool since I'm a former student! I graduated nursing in 91 and have been working at the Janeway ever since. As well Keith and I have been owner/operators of the Wendy's in Mount Pearl for the past 10 years. So our life is quite hectic but lots of fun. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone next year.

Simon Hurd
Finally got around to submitting my story. Let's see....left PWC, went to MUN, hard time finding my classes, easy time finding 3rd floor TSC and Breezeway. After 3 years of wasting my life away, I decided to go away (find myself I guess). Went to Norway for several months....had a blast...had to come home....ran out of money. Went to TO and worked for 6 months...had to come home....ran out of money. Decided to return to school. Went to Halifax to do PR degree. hated it....too cliquish and I ran out of money. Joined the working world. Finally settled with RBC, have been in management with them for about 9 years now. Married a good catholic girl (Sharon Bennett) from St John's. We have been together for 14 years, married for 9. Two kids...Sebastian is 3 (August) and Tamsen 18 months (March). My family is my life. I keep busy with work and family, also am currently serving as President of Sunshine Dreams for Kids (Nova Scotia Chapter). Hopefully will never leave Halifax, it is an amazing city. Some things have indeed changed.....most noticeably my hairline and my waistline...(thank goodness I met my wife when I did.!) Nice to see familiar faces on the site and really look forward to seeing everyone next year! I hope there is a golf day planned?????

Christine LeDrew
Christine is now a Jedi Knight.
For awhile, she dated Yoda.
They have since parted ways.

Paula Stenzel (Bugden)
Well, after PWC I went to MUN for a couple of years, but then decided to go to Jasper to work at Jasper Park Lodge for the summer and spent 5 years! I have been in the hospitality business ever since and it has been pretty good to me. I left Jasper and spent 3 years in PEI, then transferred back home for a 3 year stint at Hotel Newfoundland, from that I was in Fredericton, NB for approx 3 years and from there here in Edmonton. I am now living in Fort McMurray, AB with my husband, 17 month old son Aidan, and expecting my second child, another boy in May 2005. Looking forward to seeing everyone in August!! If anyone would like to contact me please do at stenzelp@hotmail.com, I would love to touch base with fellow grads, especially those of you in Alberta, perhaps we can start a get together here!! Paula (nee Bugden) Stenzel

Guys,
I'm looking forward to seeing you all next year (or most of you at least) ! Take The Drive In '05 ! I'm married to a beautiful Island Girl and living in PEI. No, I don't grow potatoes. But I do eat a lot of them. My wife's name is Josie - she's a Grade 2 Teacher. I work with the Provincial Government -- construction projects and utility management. Got my Engineering Degree from MUN in 1991. Worked in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and wound up in PEI. Got a dog but no kids yet. Doctor says I'm not shooting blanks, so I'll have to try harder. Looking forward to retirement, but it's so damn far away ! Some day. I'm up for a round of golf next August - Pippy Park anyone? You can reach me at thecourtneys@pei.sympatico.ca That is all. Good bye. Billy Courtney.

Donna Power (Thistle)
In June '85, I couldn't wait for our 10 year reunion. That first year out of school was long because priorities were, what to do with your life and where the next party was. The 1st year passed, then the 2nd and the 10th and in the blink of an eye our 20 year reunion is around the corner. Hi everyone. Donna (Thistle) Power from 3H. After high school I did the university thing but didn't have the committment. So I packed it in and went to Marvel School in Toronto and became a hair stylist successfully working for the past 15 years. I also was a salon manager (5yrs) and a color technician/instructor (3yrs). Three years ago I gave it all up to become a "stay at home Mom". I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Gord Power for 12 years and have two children, Justin (10) and Vanessa (7). Except for the short time in Toronto we have always lived in St. John's. Love the "Rock" and life is good! Can't wait for August 2005.

Diane Vincer (Johnston)
Hi guys! Well, 20 years have almost past - can you believe it? Sometimes it feels like yesterday and sometimes it feels like..uh...20 years! After graduating I attended MUN and graduated with a BA and shortly after that I moved to TO on the 'big job search'. Although unsuccessful finding a job in my field, I did meet my husband-to-be, Rob Vincer (another displaced Newfie). After a year of big city living, I moved back home. Rob soon followed and we've been married almost 10 years now. We have an 8 year son and a 5 year old daughter and they are the joy of our lives. I am currently working at the St. John's taxation centre as a part-time employee so I have more time at home with the kids. Rob is part owner of the Art Emporium and Pennywell Gallery both specializing in picture framing and artwork. On a lighter note...I have recently joined a band as a keyboard player and background vocalist - can you believe it? All these years of singing in the shower have finally paid off! well, thats the last 20 years of my life summed up in 100 words or less. Can't wait to see you all next summer and catch up.

Andy Deans
I moved to Belleville, Ontario with my parents the September after graduation and still live there (here). After high school I thought I wanted to be an architect, but after 2 plus years at Carleton U. and U. of Waterloo I realized that it wasn't for me. I ended up getting into the auto parts industry and am currently Parts Manager at a local GM dealership. It pays the bills and allows me to have some fun.
I have never married, or had any kids, but still hope to someday. My hobbies include motorcycling (still), and racing, I try to go to at least one Nascar race per year and I go to the Montreal Grand Prix every year. Geez, it's hard to condense 20 years into a few paragraphs when you are on your lunch break!
Oh, and as for my fondest dream, I couldn't get Van Halen to open for Rush on my 19th, but I have managed to see both bands many times over the years and still listen to both quite frequently. You can email me at andster@hotmail.com

Todd Hiscock
Graduated MUN in 91, went to IBM Toronto, had a baby. Moved back to IBM Newfoundland, had a baby. Joined Telepix, had a baby. Went to Beaufort Solutions, had a baby. I am now working very hard on not getting any more new jobs.

Darryl Langdon
Times have changed a lot in the last 20 years - many gray hairs and a lot more responsibility. I 've been happily married for the past 12 years to Gail Rabbitts (from Booth). We have three fantastic children: Grant (10 years old), Cameron (8 years old), and Jennifer (4 years old) and two dogs. After earning my B.Comm. from MUN in 1990, I fell into a sales career which has provided me with a rewarding career to date. After a seven year stint with Kodak Canada and some great experiences in the IT/telecom sectors, I have settled in as Sales Manager at Innovatia, which is an Aliant company. Although we have had the distinction of having lived in 9 houses in four provinces over the past 12 years , we have spent the majority of our time (7 years) in Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is where we currently reside and are now happily settled.
I spent some of my best times with many of you during our time at Collegiate and I truly look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Charlene O'Neill (Soper)
My life has been good, but very busy, time has just been flying. After school I attended college for awhile then moved to TO for a few years, but like everyone you tend to come home eventually. I married Chris O'Neill one of our favorite hockey players from Brother Rice, we have two beautiful girls (5 yrs and 21 months), and thank god they look like mom…
I'm currently work for F.J.Wadden & Sons Ltd. As a senior accountant and I have my own little company doing the books for several small businesses. But hey for everyone that knows me - Knows that I'm not happy unless I'm busy, so busybeeoneill@yahoo.ca is currently the email of choice. Would love to hear from you… Talk to you soon.
Charlene (Soper) O'Neill

Lori Clarke
Surprise surprise, Lori Clarke is an artist! She lives in St. John’s where she works mostly on sound and music for film and television. Her own interdisciplinary work is rooted in evocative sound design and music and integrates video, installation and performance. This work has received much acclaim, most recently Special Jury's Award at the International Scientific Film Festival in Hungary, 2003. Lori received a BFA at Concordia University, Montreal (1990) and an M.A Somatics from the CIIS, San. Francisco (1995) Though art has come first for Lori, enough about that you can visit her web site at www.somalore.com.
Lori’s son Cyrus is 12 now and will go to junior high in September. He just dyed his hair black, plays bass and loves Iron Maiden! Cyrus is Lori’s favorite person. Some say that Lori still makes out with Sarah Hansen... This is not true! They don’t kiss or anything but Lori sometimes brushes Sarah's hair and they do suffer convulsions together when something is JF. Lori has not achieved her ambition as listed in the year book and is still merely human.

Todd Newhook
Twenty years have gone fast. More time has passed than we had years then. I am married to a beautiful girl from New Brunswick, Chantelle, and we have two boys, Bennett and Andrew (six and four). We also have a kind, old, black mongrel named Buddy. We all live in the east end of Town. Chantelle and I met at law school in Fredericton and I have been practicing with Curtis, Dawe since. Chantelle completed her articles, left the law and went into marketing. She is now home with the kids and writes for sanity.
After high school I did a biology degree at MUN, a year of French, and a fair bit of travelling in between; Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Thailand.
I have been recently told, (to my surprise) that I am not as cute as I was in high school.... Considering my dismall performance at attracting a girlfriend in high school, despite application of all of the effort my then seventeen year old sex drive would allow, I have concluded that it must have been my east end townie lilt that my mainland spouse found irresistable. What a state I would be in had I never left home. I look for ward to the reunion!
Todd

Jennifer Armstrong
I notice that my fond dream was to become a commercial artist and well - thats what I am. Its more graphic design and I do more web and software then anything else which I couldn't have predicted back in the days of Atari. I have a bachelor of Fine Arts and if you want to see some of my own original stuff go to www.jennyjpeg.com to have a look. I Look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Corinne Breen (Williams)
Remember me? Here's what I've been doing with the last 20 years.... I Became a math/physics teacher in 1990, then my masters of education degree turned me into an instructional designer in 1995. Now I develop e-learning courses and projects with a multimedia team. It's a great gig! I married Gord Breen (from PWC) and every halloween we decide to go as Sonny & Cher but it hasn't happened yet. :-> We have two cute kids (www.mi.mun.ca/~cbreen) , a fat cat, and a suburbia house in the East end of St. John's. Who would've thought? Not me! Well, in 1985 my weakness was chocolate ...and some things never change. :-> Corinne (Williams) Breen

Sarah Hansen
Like Jennifer, my ambition in the 1985 yearbook was to become a graphic artist, and here I am. I've been working on my own for almost 4 years, having done many years with printing/publishing companies and design agencies. I work out of my house near Oliver's Pond in St. Philip's. I'm married to Mark Wood. We have two sons and a dog. Thankfully, I've calmed down a great deal since high school. I don't get into half as much trouble these days, but I don't have half as much fun. www.SarahHansen.com

Sue Earle
You may remember me as the chick with the dog collar...a nerdy little punk-rock geek who got barked at by the lunchtime hallway heater contingency from Pouch Cove. Well, it's been a while since anyone's barked at me (audibly, anyway).
I went to the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design after floundering at MUN for a few years. I intended to study Graphic Design and get a job doing skateboard graphics, but after 2 weeks in Typography I realized I wasn't anal enough so I fled to Photography. I graduated with a BFA in 1993 and I've been working at NSCAD ever since teaching Photo, fixing cameras and maintaining sanity amongst the students. As a side I freelance in web design and writing. I LOVE getting up and going to work in the mornings. More on Sue...
